Daniel 7:1-9
1Â In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream and told the sum of the matters.
2Â Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.
3Â And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.
4Â The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.
5Â And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.
6Â After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast also had four heads; and dominion was given to it.
7Â After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.
8Â I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
9Â I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
John and the 4th Beast
Revelation 13:1-2
1Â And I stood upon the sand of the sea and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
2Â And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
Psa 2:1Â Â Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
Psa 2:2Â The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against His Anointed, saying,
Psa 2:3Â Â Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
Psa 2:4Â Â He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.
Psa 2:5Â Â Then shall He speak unto them in His wrath, and vex them in His sore displeasure.
Psa 2:6Â Â Yet have I set my King upon My holy hill of Zion.
Psa 2:7Â Â I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Psa 2:8Â Â Ask of Me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.
Psa 2:9Â Â Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.
Psa 2:10Â Â Be wise now, therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth.
Psa 2:11Â Â Serve the LORD with fear and rejoice with trembling.
Psa 2:12Â Â Kiss the Son, lest He be angry, and ye perish from the way when His wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.
