Authenticity and Freedom

“For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy:
for I have espoused you to one husband,
that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ”
2 Corinthians 11:2

The majority of what people call ministry in our day is a means to populate some earthly organization or building, to make people feel good, in the hope of having more people in our church or fellowship. In the scriptures, the purpose of all the true ministrations of the Holy Spirit is to present His People to ONE HUSBAND (Jesus) as a chaste virgin. How the purpose of ministry has been polluted and defiled. The desire of the carnal fallen church is to bring in ministers who will increase their following, denomination or for the exalting of some teacher or prophet while utterly failing to present HIS PEOPLE to HIM chaste, pure and holy. We are not here to be popular we are here to bring forth a Bride who is worthy of Him!

The people of God will never be truly free in a life of authenticity until they are joined together unto ONE HUSBAND. We are called to the Church of the Firstborn; the Bride of Christ will carry no other name but His. She will not be called Baptist, Pentecostal or some other name she is HIS and can bear no other name. Jesus prayed that they may be ONE as He is with the Father. If we believe that, our walk must reveal this one central truth. For men to partake of this life of freedom, they must be free from all other attachments and religious identities. There is only One God and One Body and One Church. They who settle for less will receive less.

The entering into this freedom is the result of authenticity. Authenticity is easily summed up in one scripture.

“So speak ye, and so do,
as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.”
James 12:2

This is the law by which we will be judged. It takes very little objectivity in our life to gauge our progress within the realm of His life. We have been called to a life of authenticity, to BE what HE is and to speak His Words, and to be what we speak. Anything less than this is not the full life of Jesus being lived out in us.

Authenticity in Christ produces a life that authenticates His Life being revealed in us. It is a personal liberty bound by the Law of Love holding us to His Will and Purpose.

“As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.”
1 Peter 2:16-17

God has placed within His own a compass which will unerringly direct their steps into the Way in which we are to walk. To walk without the compass is to become lost, to hold the compass without the walk is deception. They who walk in His Way grow into the freedom of His Life.

“The steps of a good man
are ordered by the Lord:
and He delighteth in his way”
Psalm 37:23
