The Fifth Seal – Part Six

The Fifth Seal – Part Six

His Resurrection and the Sealed Book

The Sealed Book of Life must be opened, for the grave could NOT hold Him. In His resurrection, according to the Spirit of Holiness, Jesus prevailed to “take the Book” out of the hand of His Father and begin (Revelation 5:7-8), for the sake of all humanity, to “unloose the seals thereof” and to show forth the surpassing Wisdom of God in Christ being crucified!

“And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead.”
Romans 1:4

The church in our day (to a large extent) has lost the power and understanding of holiness. When we lose the essence of what Holiness is, we are blinded from seeing Him.

“Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God …”
Hebrews 12:14-15

Without a vision of holiness and the incalculable ministration it brings to the human heart, the church will “fall short of the grace of God.” Only by touching His holiness can we “see the Lord.” When grace is held apart from holiness, men will inevitably “pervert the grace of our God into sensuality.” (living and acting according to the carnal senses void of the Holy Spirit – James 3:15Jude 1:19)

“For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ. Now I want to remind you, although you once fully knew it, that Jesus, who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe.”
Jude 1:4-5 (ESV)

We must understand that the loosening of the seals and the associated ministrations are the integral elements by which He is revealed. Their significance to His appearing in our day is by His judgments being released on the earth. Every loosed seal will birth tremendous ramifications in the earth.

“…for all nations shall come and worship before thee;
for thy judgments are made manifest.”
Revelation 15:4

Those who walk and live in Him will know He does all things well. Many who call themselves by His Name will be angry as these things unfold. They will be offended by the chaos, suffering, and horror of all that must come in the days ahead.

“And that sown on the stony places is this: the one hearing the Word, and immediately receiving it with joy, but has no root in himself, but is temporary, and tribulation, or persecution occurring because of the Word, he is at once offended.”
Matthew 13:20-21 (LITV)

With these things in mind, we turn our hearts to the Lord, asking that the precious seed be rooted deeply so that we may stand in a day in which fear and chaos will reign.

“For in those days shall be affliction, such as has not been from the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never shall be. And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved…”
Mark 13:19-20 (ESV)

It is with these truths in mind that we contemplate the Fifth Seal. It is this Seal that I was impressed by His Spirit to write concerning its relevance to the coming storm in our land. The first six chapters were written in this writing to present a brief flow of the Revelation of Him in this majestic Book. Each of the Seals represents the unveiling of Him through the corresponding judgments to be revealed in the coming days in their fullness. To those who understand His purposes, there have been partial expressions of these things throughout the history of the Church, but in these last days, we stand at the culmination of all He has purposed in Christ!

This article is best read as one document, but in the hope of maximum retention, it is broken down into shorter segments.

  • Love your wisdom for our day in Scripture. For we truly are living out an end to this age of Human wisdom or lack thereof.

Amen. “Those who walk and live in Him will know He does all things well.” This is where our hope comes from and we fear not! Thank you BT.

I believe that the spiritual condition of the church is on display as something of significance, but it has not much effect in our world, because of it’s lack of desire to seek the Lord for more than a morsel.
It hungers, but not for the things of God.
It thirsts, but only for the senses of the carnal mind.
The church and the world are in the bottleneck of the times, but the church thinks that there is much time left.
I’m affraid that it’s in the condition of Judah in the book of Jeremiah.

    • Brian T. says:

The prophecies of Jeremiah spoke of this day…

“Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the thing…”

They accurately describe to us our condition and also of our remedy… turn us Lord!

      Love the insight!
