“His countenance doth behold the upright”
Psalm 11:7

The upright will know the joy of God’s gaze. Uprightness of heart is found in living right and doing right. The true disciple quickly forgives others and seeks forgiveness from others; the result is the peace of God within. Uprightness is simply living free from the stain of envy, jealously, bias and compromise. It is the freedom which comes to those who abide in Christ.

“And ye shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free”

“Thou wilt shew me the path of life:
in thy presence is fulness of joy”
Psalm 16:11

the tongue will be eloquent for God”
Joseph Parker

“My heart overflows with a noble theme.
I recite my verses for the king.
My tongue is like the pen of a skillful writer”
Psalm 45:1

The love of God loosens the tongue and frees the heart. His presence graces the lips of men with praise and fills their lives with joy.
