In Him We Live and Move

β€œChrist IN you, the hope of glory”
Colossians 1:27

The Call of God is ever unto Himself; He alone is our salvation. Without the pulse of His Spirit beating within we cease to be a vital and active expression of His wonder. It is His Spirit that is our life and our hope of honoring Christ.

β€œFor in Him we live and move…”
Acts 17:28 (LITV)

Movement in a life reveals the essence of its relationship with Him. It reflects the nearness and impulses of His Life. Those who are becoming His grow in the dynamic of a living faith that makes Him known. Just as the development of a child becomes more evident as they grow in the disposition and expression of what is resident within, so those who are born of God increasingly convey His heart into the sphere of their influence.

β€œThey profess to know God,
but they deny Him by their works…”
Titus 1:16

The β€œworks” of a life reveal the source of the inspiration within. The true Christian knows intrinsically that we are not β€œsaved BY good works… but we are saved UNTO good works. The β€œgood works” are the result of the infusion of His life into us, not the cause.

β€œFor BY grace you are saved, through faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God; not of works, that not anyone should boast; for we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus UNTO good works, which God before prepared that we should walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:8-10

“Faith and Works are bound up in the same bundle. He that obeys God trusts God; and he that trusts God obeys God. He that is without faith is without works; and he that is without works is without faith”
