The Tree and The River
“On either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month”

And there is one Tree, yielding its fruit every month. There is no fall, no barren winter, no need to store from last month’s supply. By it, we shall go on knowing Christ with ever-fresh knowledge, for in its different fruits we shall taste Him at all points, not just at one.
River and Tree, Christ’s fullness and Christ’s ever-newness: we cannot move without them. Wherever we go we must carry them with us now–Christ’s way of life to give light and healing to the nations.”
