The Power of Mercy
Mercy is the power of God that presses us to victory. There is something deep, quiet and relentless in its ministration. It reaches beyond our stubbornness, defeats our pride and arrogance, and leaves an unmistakable softness in those broken by its sweet, pervading wonder.
Mercy will bind the wayward heart of man to the Will of God. There is an unmistakable fragrance that graces those who have received its verdict. Guilt dissipates in its atmosphere; tears of release flow in its undeserved power.
While many trample upon its holy ground, it exerts tremendous sway over those who enter its domain. Unforgiveness cannot inhabit where mercy reigns. Obstinacy melts into meekness, as the soul breathes in its healing vapours.
Mercy increases by its own ministration. Whatever measure of its influence we hold in our hearts, as we extend it to others, we receive a greater portion.
“Blessed are the merciful:
for they shall obtain mercy.”
Matthew 5:7
There may be no greater judgment in this world or the one to come than to stand guilty before the God of all mercy, defiant, unbroken and condemned.
The unforgiving
forsake their own mercy.

Honey, Sticky Like God’s Mercy
I had a dream/ night vision where I saw a honey pot suspended over a church. If you think about it in the natural, pouring honey over someone would illicit emotions of anger/disgust at the sticky mess that now had to be washed off because you one would not want to be seen in church or in public with honey dripping from oneself. Honey is sticky and attracts pollinators. As long as they are treated with respect you wont be stung as they are there just to collect the honey. With that said I saw in my dream/ night vision a honey pot suspended above the church and subsequently being poured out over the church. I saw people walking about glistening from honey and extending their right hand to offer it to others.
If ones reaction is of disgust /anger at the thought of honey, God’s Mercy, being poured out on oneself it could be because of unforgivness of self or a religious spirit.
Honey is sticky and,unless washed off, will stay on you.
Honey is a natural antibiotic
Honey has no expiration date
If you won’t allow it to remain on you, you will have none to offer others.
Not wanting to be seen with honey driping from oneself is pride
Not sharing ungrateful

To exult in and extol, truly loving the Father of mercies to any extent whatsoever, even for a split millisecond is His mercy. That the Son of His love saves us everlastingly from ourselves is His mercy. As no one can come to Christ, except the Holy Spirit draws Him, is His mercy. Mercy, in all actuality, is unearned, undeserved, unmerited favor.
