Finally

Letters to the Church

“Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.”
1 Peter 3:8

The Word of the Lord flows from those in whom His Spirit dwells. There are no words in the Holy Scriptures that do not carry the power and breath of God. To inherit His blessing, we are required to be a blessing. We bless one another by our faithfulness to His Word.

“All Scripture is breathed out by God
and profitable for teaching,
for reproof, for correction,
and for training in righteousness…”
2 Timothy 3:16 (ESV)

The God of all love has given us His precious word for a distinct purpose:

“…that the man of God may be complete,
equipped for every good work.”
2 Timothy 3:17

Without His word going forth in the revelation of His Spirit, the church fails to produce men and women of God who are equipped for EVERY good work. When the ministry of God ceases to minister words of correction, reproof, and training in righteousness, a generation will be ill-equipped and unsuitable for His work.

The true ministry of God has a heart to train GOD’S people in righteousness. Righteousness is the foundation of UNITY. The righteousness of God does not promote a church, a minister or a faction; His righteousness can only culminate in the worship and honor of Christ.

“Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us,
but unto Thy Name give glory,
for Thy mercy, and for Thy truth’s sake.”
Psalm 115:1

May HE raise up true and genuine ministrations of LIFE that will contend with the self-seeking carnality of men and women who promote a church, an organization and individuals at the expense of His purposes for HIS CHURCH! May this coming year be filled with an impetus of the Spirit to see us confronted with the righteousness of God.

“…that they also may be one in Us”
John 17:21

THE CALL of GOD

Isaiah stood broken and devastated in the presence of God and heard the magnificent voice of the Almighty.

“Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?”
Isaiah 6:8

May there be a people who will answer such a Call as Isaiah.

“Then said I, Here am I; send me.”
Isaiah 6:8

Will we be such ones? Will we forsake our agendas and allow Him to break, purify and free us from our opinions, our ways, and the selfishness that dims His Light in each of us?

“To day if ye will hear his voice,
harden not your hearts.”
Hebrews 4:7

  • Ephesians 3:16-21 AMP
16 May He grant you out of the riches of His glory, to be strengthened and spiritually energized with power through His Spirit in your inner self, [indwelling your innermost being and personality], 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through your faith. And may you, having been [deeply] rooted and [securely] grounded in love, 18 be fully capable of comprehending with all the saints (God’s people) the width and length and height and depth of His love [fully experiencing that amazing, endless love]; 19 and [that you may come] to know [practically, through personal experience] the love of Christ which far surpasses [mere] knowledge [without experience], that you may be filled up [throughout your being] to all the fullness of God [so that you may have the richest experience of God’s presence in your lives, completely filled and flooded with God Himself]. 20 Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, 21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.
