Repentance and a Renewed Hope

Repentance and a Renewed Hope

May God give us hope in this darkening hour. Read and savor each verse below and allow His Spirit to invigorate our hearts afresh.

“For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the peoples. But Jehovah shall rise on you, and His glory shall be seen on you.”
Isaiah 60:2

“And nations shall walk to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawning.”
Isaiah 60:3

“Lift up your eyes all around and see; they are all assembling; they are coming to you. Your sons shall come from far away, and your daughters shall be supported on the side.”
Isaiah 60:4

May we lift our eyes to see that the “fields are white unto harvest”. The world will know that we are His disciples because of the purity of the love that has bound us together IN HIM.

Then you shall fear and be bright, and your heart shall dread and swell. For the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you; the wealth of nations shall come to you.”
Isaiah 60:5

It is the fear of the Lord in our midst that causes us to be “bright”. Our hearts will be enlarged because of the abundance of His mercy.

Therefore:

Sanctify Yourselves!

“Sanctify yourselves,
for tomorrow Jehovah
will do wonders among you.”
Joshua 3:5 (ESV)

The Call to sanctification always precedes His Wonders in our midst.

The Call to Separation

“Depart, depart, go out from there; touch no unclean thing; go out from the midst of her; purify yourselves, you who bear the vessels of the LORD.”
Isaiah 52:11

There is a Call going out at this late hour; a call to purity, a call to separation, and a call to serve the Lord alone. The ways of the world have infiltrated His priesthood. That which is to be a heavenly Body has become a worldly corporation. The call to holiness and sanctification has become a message of belief rather than a plea for righteousness and obedience.

Whenever the priesthood becomes worldly the hearts of His people become cold and indifferent. Doctrine and teaching replace the fire and passion of the Holy Spirit, and they find comfort in doctrinal correctness rather than the pulse of His power within.

“Let us lift up our heart with our hands
unto God in the heavens…”
Lamentations 3:41

It is when the works and worship of His people come from their hearts that they bring joy and honor to Him. Too often, over time, our devotion to Him becomes mechanical and routine.

“He who kills an ox is as if he struck a man; he who sacrifices a lamb is as if he broke a dog’s neck; he who offers a present is as if it were swine’s blood; he making mention of incense is as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their way, and their soul delights in their abominations.”
Isaiah 66:3

In Israel’s sad history, the inspired keeping of the feasts and offerings became a means of pride and arrogance. So today, our offerings to Him, if not arising from pure hearts, become offensive and worthy of judgment. In recognition of our need for HIM, we can respond to the Call of Him to be a separated people.

When the heart is set on choosing its own way and refuses the council and the admonitions of His Word, the offerings of our lips, our confessions, can be offensive to Him. The Lord ever seeks the hearts and affections of His people, not an outward piety that denies His power. We must allow His Word to affect our conduct and begin to walk rightly before Him in humility and fear. True sanctification of the Spirit requires obedience.

“having the appearance of godliness,
but denying its power. Avoid such people”
(“from such turn away” KJV)
2 Timothy 3:5

What are some of the characteristics of these people?

“always learning and never able to arrive
at a knowledge of the truth…”
2 Timothy 3:7

Many love to talk about scriptures, they appear knowledgeable but purposely deny the power to become sanctified by not submitting to the truth. They walk in pride, considering themselves “spiritual” as they feast with His own, unperturbed by the indifference within. They serve God in the spirit of Cain (jealously), succumb to the covetousness of Balaam, and refuse correction in the pride of Korah’s rebellious ways.

“Woe to them! For they walked in the way of Cain and abandoned themselves for the sake of gain to Balaam’s error and perished in Korah’s rebellion. These are hidden reefs at your love feasts, as they feast with you without fear, shepherds feeding themselves; waterless clouds, swept along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, uprooted; wild waves of the sea, casting up the foam of their own shame; wandering stars, for whom the gloom of utter darkness has been reserved forever.”
Jude 1:11-13 (ESV) (this is the correct translation from the Greek)

There is a separation coming to HIS church, a word of repentance, a renewed sense of His Glory that will usher in a new obedience unto HIM. In His presence unforgiveness and pride are purged, and the true people of God will flow in harmony. The fire of His purifying love will fuse them into the Unity of His Spirit. There will no longer be any tolerance for the schisms, the sects and sectarianism by those who are alive unto Him.

Turn Us

In Christ, we have been sanctified unto the Father, but it is in our response to Him that we Sanctify ourselves unto Him!

“But sanctify the Lord God
in your hearts…”
1 Peter 3:15

“He that hath an ear,
let him hear what the Spirit saith
unto the churches…”
Revelation 2:7,11,17,29; 3:6,13,22

Repentance and santification are words that speak of a change of heart, one that draws us to seek a full relationship with the Father, otherwise why repent, why santify ourselves.
It is a great oportunity to evaluate why we have begun a fellowship with God, even though he is the one who initiated it. Are we still interseted in his persuit, or are we distracted by wotldly things?
    Bless you Brian.

  • “It is the fear of the Lord that keeps us bright”….. Amen, Brian: It’s the masterkey!
    Blessings and love,

Thank you, Michele, for stopping by and commenting. I appreciate the encouragement. May we keep seeking Him and holding each other up that we finish our race unto Him who alone is faithful and true!

      • I pictured you with something in each hand and it was like you were weighing what you have.
I pray that you have sharp discernment and that a perfect balance will be the result.

        Proverbs 11:1
“A false balance is an abomination to the Lord,
But a just weight is His delight.”

        Leviticus 19:36
“You shall have just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just.”

We don’t have many fathers in the Lord, and I have a witness that you have been faithful and are such a one. 🌟

Giving God thanks for you, Brian, and blessing you,
        ❤️✝️Michele
Your name Brian means “virtue and honor” and its spiritual connotation is “victorious spirit.”

Yes, Michele, darling of Jesus, the worshipful reverence and awe is the masterkey held by our beholding and becoming as per 2 Cor. 3:18. Beholding our uncreated Creator, Who Is infinitely more glorious than the grand sum of all creation that is, and was, and ever shall be, we are becoming from one degree of glory to another more like His perfect self unto that perfect day.

Burning blessings of Jesus’ beauty in your being, precious sister, and intimate blessings of loving affection from His holy heart as Lord of history and King of heaven.

      • Dear Shulamite woman,
No one has ever called me “darling of Jesus” before, and it touched me.
Thank you for blessing me and for your encouraging words.
From reading your response, your desire to have a pure heart is evident and I pray “burning blessings” for you as well.
May God be greatly glorified in our quest.

  • Shulamitefire says:

The singleness of spirit, the simplicity and strength of sanctification by and to the superscendent splendor Who is our Savior is the beholding and therefore becoming of 2 Corinthians 3:18.

“And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.” (AMP)

Give ourselves to the heavy habituation of falling at His feet, gazing on His glory, hearing His heart, in stillness, sans self striving. Be tenderized, healed, romanced, entranced, wooed, wowed, fascinated, accelerated, receptive, responsive to His supernal overtures of transforming love, living in vital, conscious union and ever increasing, endearing, consecrating communion with our Lord of history and King of heaven, our forever first Love and all magnificent Obsession, our Kinsman Redeemer and perfect Priest.

    • Brian T. says:

Good to hear from you and yes and the phrase “progressively being transformed” is a key truth in our relationship with Him and one another.

      Blessings

  • Shulamitefire says:

The transcending truth is that if we are not “progressively being transformed,” we are not knowing, going with and growing in the God of all grace and glory. In our sloth of spirit and soul, savoring and sowing to His Majesty we are not. Showing Him to others for the praise of His magnificence, marvel, and munificence we are not.

Foolish virgins we are, stymied, short of the supply of the superceding Spirit, our lamps no longer lovingly lit for Messiah Yeshua. Rather than beholding Christ Jesus’ beauty and thereby being beautified by His beauty, for Himself and our fellow man, we continue coldly conforming to Christless carnality, corruption, conceit.

Behold and become like, in love lavishly with our Beloved!

No manner, multiplication or manipulation of words, nor any wanton or wayward else can, concerning beholding and becoming, smudge, smother or strike out the exceeding excellence of this energizing exercise and extravagant experience, for its simplicity of dedication and purity of devotion to our Bridegroom King Omnipotent.

That the Christ cherished church would the much more focus on this bounteously beneficent beholding and beautifully brilliant becoming, substantially less need would exist for her to sub-focus on her faults and failings, falling forth from her perverse pleasure in the inferiority of sin’s compromise, rather than from her pristine pleasure in the supreme superiority of her sufficient Savior, her splendorous Sanctifier.

    2 Corinthians 3:18 AMP
And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit.

  • Oh dear Shulamite woman, I have never been called “darling of Jesus” before and am especially touched by it. Thank you.

That you have named your blog Shulamitefire and prayed burning blessings for me reminded me that only through fire purifying us can we have a pure heart. Oh to see Him as He is!!

I have read other comments written by you, and you always bring the attention, praise and honor to our wonderful Lord. I give thanks to Him for the inspiration you are and pray your loving prayer of “intimate blessings of loving affection from His holy heart” for you as well…. such a lovely prayer!!

Continuing to learn of Him, desiring to be completely conformed into His image,
    ❤️☀️Michele

Michele, this is Stephen, yes, a Shulamite, like Solomon as a male, also yes. Please know that I am not at all offended. I deeply appreciate your loving-kindness toward our Lord and I.

As so very many others who are the bride of Christ, I am in absolute awe and adoration of our King’s authority, His authorship, His ability, His action, His affection, His ardency, His artistry, and so very much more that is His purity, His passion, His perfection, His power, His providence, His provision, His peace.

Often, we educe the central truth of Christianity, condensed in 2 Corinthians 3:18, blindly backwards. The becoming like Him issues forth by our our beholding Him.

I fervently pray that the fire of Shulamite desire burn ever brighter our Beloved’s Beauty in your being, torching others with His love almighty.

  • Sigh! You are the second man I’ve communicated with on the Internet that I thought was a woman…. Another sigh! I thank you for your gracious response.
However I wasn’t wrong in that your female soul is the Lord’s woman (His bride.) The transgenders of this world are the devil’s perversion of our having a male spirit and a female soul within, letting us know how close we are to the marriage of the Lamb.
Thank you for your fervent prayer that Shulamite desire burn brightly in me….. so needed to finish my course. Yes, beholding Him and acknowledging every good thing in us is how we will partake of the divine nature. May we hold a steady course, my brother.

I rejoice in your love and admiration of our Beloved.
Praying you will grab hold of every ray of the sun of righteousness for the glory of our Father.
    His “darling,”
    🌹Michele
P.S. As I was never sent notification that my first reply was sent, I wrote you another one. Another sigh! I think “His darling” might be called “His Sigher” now moaning and groaning waiting for the manifestation of His Shulamite sons.

  • Shulamitefire says:

Darling of Jesus, I am marvelously heartened by your exquisite expression of the humble, dear heart that our Abba and the Son of His love regard and relate to you as. I much look forward to spending more time at your blog. https://ridetheheavens.com/about-michele/ and more, much more greeting and meeting you at the marriage supper of the Lamb.

Betimes my prayer has been for me to see our God as He really is, to see myself as He really sees me, and to see others as He really sees them. Such I need and desire to give myself to much more.

Yes, each one of us, are as individuals, the intensely intimate idea and the willful, wondrous workmanship of the omniscient God Who Is Love (1 John 4:8,16). Now abides faith, hope and love and the greatest of these is love (1 Corinthians 13).

Now the grace of our Bridegroom King, the love of our Abba Almighty, and the communion of the Spirit of holiness, health and happiness be yours ever increasingly
