“For the day of the LORD is near upon all the nations. As you have done, it shall be done to you; your deeds shall return on your own head.”
Obadiah 1:15 (LITV)

The Day of the Lord is a day of recompense. It is a time of sifting and consequence. Despite the seeming silence of God, He beholds the works of men. As they have done so, it will be done to them.
“As you have done, it shall be done to you…”
The Day of Recompense
Any presentation of the Gospel that alleviates the “fear of the Lord” or diminishes our sense of accountability to Him is a false doctrine.
The true Gospel brings us to the precipice of a Holy God. His presence within produces a sensitivity to our actions and our motives that we may become “living epistles, known and read of all men.” (2 Corinthians 3:2-3)
Paul, in his pleadings with the Church of God at Corinth, presented to them this truth of accountability to Him and their corresponding walk before Him.
“Wherefore we labour,
that, whether present or absent,
we may be accepted* of Him.”
2 Corinthians 5:9
Paul was ever present tense. He lived to be accepted (Greek* – “well pleasing”) to the Lord in all things. There were no unguarded moments of frivolous or unholy behaviour. He laboured daily to live “godly in Christ Jesus”.
His life and conduct were grounded in the full apprehension of his accountability to the Lord. May the Lord press upon us a new and fresh comprehension of this precious and sobering truth.
Paul continues, in the flow of the inspiration of God, to set before us this certainty that has been lost in much of the preaching of today.
“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.”
2 Corinthians 5:10
Let us, by the grace of God, allow the weight of this scripture to penetrate our hearts afresh. May we have a new sense of His eyes beholding us as we “must” appear before the “judgement seat of Christ.” The falsity of a gospel that alleviates our accountability unto Him is a doctrine of the Devil.
“Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in His sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.”
Hebrews 4:13
What is the evidence of a life that carries this living truth?
“Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord,
we persuade men…”
2 Corinthians 5:11
Those who are desensitized to the fear of the Lord have no driving force within to “persuade men”. They live in the soft and sentimental presentation of God that carries no conviction or life-saving message of the grace and power of God. It is a gospel that lacks the fire of God by which we are drawn away from our sins by our own encounter with the Holiness of God.
Any word preached, presented or taught that robs His people of the intent of God in Christ Jesus from this one central truth is deception:
“Be ye holy”
1 Peter 1:16
Revival is simply the result of a fresh ministration of this truth whereby we turn from our ways to walk in His.
Paul’s cutting words to the people of God in Corinth:
“Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right,
and do not go on sinning.
For some have no knowledge of God.
I say this to your shame.”
1 Corinthians 15:34 (ESV)

The Day of Recompense
is upon us.
“Meanwhile, the globe begins to tremble on its axis; the moon is covered with a bloody veil, the threatening stars hang half detached from the vault of heaven, and the agony of the world commences. Then, all at once, the fatal hour strikes; God suspends the movements of the creation, and the earth has passed away like an exhausted river. Now resounds the trumpet of the angel of judgment, and the cry is heard, “Arise, ye dead!” The sepulchres burst open with a terrific noise, the human race issues all at once from the tomb, and the assembled multitudes fill the valley of Jehoshaphat. Behold, the Son of Man appears in the clouds; the powers of hell ascend from the depths of the abyss to witness the last judgment pronounced upon the ages; the goats are separated from the sheep, the wicked are plunged into the gulf, the just ascend triumphantly to heaven, God returns to His repose, and the reign of eternity commences.

“But who can endure the day of His coming,
and who can stand when He appears?
For He is like a refiner’s fire…”

Wheat and Tares….Harvest Time Approaches!
I had a dream on the morning of 08/07/2025. In the dream, I saw a large church where I was standing at the back facing the altar. The church was packed with people, and the people I saw were seated but dressed in white robes. Suddenly, I saw individuals in different seats stand to their feet, and as they did, I saw their white robe change from pure white to pitch black. I saw angels in the aisles as these people popped up out of their chairs, which leads me to believe that they were there to expose and remove the, “tares”, that had been exposed. The frightening thing to me was that the church attendees were all dressed in white. Had they not stood to their feet and their robes go from white to black, I would have thought all seated were sanctified believers. This is why it is angels and not people who are being sent by the Lord to expose and remove the tares from the wheat. A process that is done when both wheat and tares are mature

Exposed!
Rev 3:15 — Rev 3:19
“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, “I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing’—and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked— I counsel you to buy from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich; and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
I had a dream just before waking the morning of 03/14/2017. In the dream I saw a church building and I saw people inside of the building. Then I saw the roof get lifted off of the building and hover over it. Next I saw the walls of the building fall down flat so that the people inside the building were visible to those on the outside of the building. Lastly I saw the clothing removed from the people in an instant as if some invisible vacuum cleaner were above their heads. Instead of being ashamed that their nakedness was exposed they were instead angry.
I quoted the passage of scripture from Revelation because it speaks of buying white garments from Jesus so that one’s shameful nakedness be not exposed.
The clothing represents works, I believe . As we know some can afford very expensive clothing while others barely have enough to purchase even inexpensive clothing.
The white robe offered by Jesus to the church levels the playing field. All who trust in the shed blood and atoning sacrifice of Jesus wear the white robe and do not trust in their own righteous but in Christ’s alone. It is worthy of note that those trusting in Christ’s righteousness who purchased white robes from Jesus never have the robe stripped from them as was the clothing from the people in the dream I posted.
I believe that there was a sequence of events here in this dream each of which a warning that, if heeded, would have resulted in repentance and restoration.
The first thing that happened was the roof was lifted off the building and suspended above it indicating that Jesus sees what’s going on and gave them an opportunity to repent.
When that was ignored the walls off the building came down and the people’s clothing removed and the world was shown not only the goings on within the church but the people’s nakedness was exposed as well
