PODCAST – THE POWER OF VISION

“For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew Him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day…”
Acts 13:27

Our ability to hear the voice and the cry of the Spirit will be proportional to our knowing Him personally!

The Zeal of the Lord for His House will be proportional to the measure to which HIS Life is burning within our hearts.

“And His disciples remembered that it was written,
“The zeal of Your house has consumed Me.”
John 2:17

May God grant us a new Vision of all that the Church of Jesus Christ is to be!

Vision Communicates Obedience

“Whereupon, O king Agrippa,
I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision”
Acts 26:19

Love is the basis of obedience, and true love produces true obedience. We begin to grow to the extent of our obedience to Him. Love is the fulfillment, and only HIS love can fulfill the will of God in each of us!

Obedience is the fruit of one who has been given a heavenly vision. The paltry visions of men fade, the inspiration of the carnal lead to compromise and stagnation. Within the “heavenly vision” resides a power that keeps the heart on fire that ever burns unto purity.

Vision Communicates a Growing Purity – Purity of heart is the lens through which we see God.

“Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God.”
Mattew 5:8

“And the boy Samuel was serving Jehovah before Eli. And the Word of Jehovah was rare in those days. There was no breaking-through vision. And it happened at that time, Eli was lying down in his place, and his eyes had begun to be dim; he was not able to see.”
1 Samuel 3:1-2 (LITV)

Vision and a Growing Purity

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as he is. And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.”
1 John 3:2-3

Vision Communicates Movement

Vision is God’s Answer to the Stagnation of His Church.

“And Jehovah answered me and said,
Write the vision and engrave it on the tablets,
that he who reads it may run.”

Habakkuk 2:2

“Without a Vision is a people made naked…”
Proverbs 28:18 (YLT)

Mediocrity

“Nothing is as approved as mediocrity,
the majority has established it
and it fixes its fangs on whatever gets beyond it…”

Blaise Pascal

Mediocrity is the fruit of a godless faith. A faith that is bereft of the pulse and the Life of God.

The “Mutual Faith” is the atmosphere
where the truths and the power of God are IMPARTED
to His people.”

“For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established— that is, that I may be encouraged together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.”
Romans 1:11-12

Vision Hastens  The Day of the Lord

waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God…”
2 Peter 3:12

The Day of transition is upon us – The Jordan before us must be crossed – the veil must be rent within our own hearts.

The contractions of His Spirit are upon those who carry within them the spirit and the faith of the Bride.

For the creation waits with eager longing
for the revealing of the sons of God.

Romans 8:19 (ESV)

The movement of things heavenly
contrasted with things in the earth

“A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars; and she was with child; and she cried out, being in labor and in pain to give birth. Then another sign appeared in heaven: and behold, a great red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and on his heads were seven diadems. And his tail *swept away a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman who was about to give birth, so that when she gave birth he might devour her child. And she gave birth to a son, a male child, who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up to God and to His throne.”  (Rev 12:1-5)

Church Within The Church

God has always had a Church Within the Church… the five wise along with the five foolish.

“All these are but the beginning of the birth pains…”
Matthew 24:8  (ESV)

“And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.”
Matthew 25:10  (ESV)

Vision is the Basis of Our Own Ministration of Christ

if anyone speaks, speak as oracles of God; if anyone ministers, minister as of the strength which God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom is the glory and the power through the ages of the ages. Amen.
1 Peter 4:11

True ministry cannot rest with a people who speak about their God without bringing them to the place where God speaks through them!

May we comprehend the difference between these two, and may we rise up and comprehend that in our meetings and in our Gatherings, God desires to pour out His Spirit into each of us so that, as we speak and as we share, we would grow into the place of becoming His Oracle.

“Christ is not a reservoir but a spring. His life is continual, active and ever passing on with an outflow as necessary as its inflow. If we do not perpetually draw the fresh supply from the living Fountain, we shall either grow stagnant or empty, It is, therefore, not so much a perpetual fullness as a perpetual filling.”

Brian, there is definitely a passion that is missing in the churches today. Like a fire that’s gone out, it needs to be rekindled, like a stream that is drying out, it needs to be reconnected to the spring. The church no longer feels the stirring of the Holy Spirit, and like the five foolish virgins, it also will be left out in the cold.
Thank you for your passion and drive. Our pastors seem to have forgotten what the value of a soul is, and it’s not about keeping them happy or entertained, but keeping us on fire and out causing spiritual wildfires.
    Bless you Brian.

May we guard His fire in our hearts and may we grow in His “zeal for His (our) Father’s house” –
Thank you for taking the time to listen and to comment.

Grace to you and your family

A dream from January of 2023

    Judging of the Shepherds
    Ezekiel 34:1-10 (NKJV)
    Irresponsible Shepherds
1 And the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD to the shepherds: “Woe to the shepherds of Israel who feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks? 3 You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool; you slaughter the fatlings, but you do not feed the flock. 4 The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor sought what was lost; but with force and cruelty you have ruled them. 5 So they were scattered because there was no shepherd; and they became food for all the beasts of the field when they were scattered. 6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and on every high hill; yes, My flock was scattered over the whole face of the earth, and no one was seeking or searching for them.”
7 ‘Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD: 8 “As I live,” says the Lord GOD, “surely because My flock became a prey, and My flock became food for every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, nor did My shepherds search for My flock, but the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock”— 9 therefore, O shepherds, hear the word of the LORD! 10 Thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require My flock at their hand; I will cause them to cease feeding the sheep, and the shepherds shall feed themselves no more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouths, that they may no longer be food for them.”

I had a dream 01/03/2023 where I saw many shepherds with the flocks entrusted to their care following behind them. I saw that each shepherd in the dream had a shepherds staff. Then I saw the Lord Jesus seated on His throne and each of the shepherds in my dream, along with the flock entrusted to their care, came and presented themselves to the Lord. The Lord asked 2 questions. The first question asked was what is the condition of the flock entrusted to your care. The second question asked was why are there sheep missing and what were they doing to find and restore them. This is where true shepherds will be exalted and those that are hirlings, those in it for the money and fame will be exposed. Any true shepherd will know the condition of the flock entrusted to his care and grieve and search for those who have gone missing. I believe we will begin to see shepherds either exalted or exposed this year and I wouldn’t be surprised to see entire congregations be led of the Lord to join other congregations where the pastor is a true shepherd with a heart for the lost and hurting and not a CEO who is driven by numbers and in it for the money
