“The Son of man shall send forth His angels,
and they shall gather out of His kingdom
all things that offend, and them which do iniquity”
Matthew 13:41

There are phrases in the scriptures filled with such power that they should invoke in our hearts a holy pause and a deep sense of reflection. Our natural mind may pass over such things and miss the warnings and the awful truth of His words. This blindness and carelessness are inherently embedded in the carnal mind, a result of God’s righteous judgment.

“He came unto His own,
and his own received Him not…”
John 1:11

The magnitude of such things should fill our hearts with “the fear of the Lord.” We need to reconsider the frivolity and casualness that pervades the atmosphere of much of the church today.

Let Us Take Heed

What is this sobering word in Matthew 13:41?

“The Son of man shall send forth His angels…”

What will be their mandate?

“THEY SHALL GATHER OUT OF HIS KINGDOM…”

What?

“ALL THINGS THAT OFFEND,
AND THEM WHICH DO INIQUITY”

We give too little care and concern to the daily affairs of our lives. How is it that His people treat one another with callousness and indifference when Jesus said:

“Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these My brethren, ye have done it unto Me.”
Matthew 25:40

“Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to Me.”
Matthew 25:45

There are two types of sins we may commit in our dealings with the Body of Christ: sins of commission and those of omission. May we be mindful of Him in all our interactions with HIS people.

“As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men,
especially unto them who are of the household of faith.”
Galatians 6:10

What we do and do not do can often be the result of a false understanding of the gospel that has removed the fear of the Lord from our midst and replaced it with a spirit of indifference and negligence. For this cause, Jesus declared that He would send His angels “to remove all things that would offend and them who do iniquity” from His Kingdom.

“…for the Lord is a God of knowledge,
and by Him actions are weighed.”
1 Samuel 2:3

As the gracious work of His Spirit quickens our hearts, we become sensitive and alive unto Him. The true “fear of the Lord” will cause us to walk carefully before Him so that all our actions are pleasing unto Him.

It is one thing to declare that we see Jesus in our brothers and sisters, but it is another thing altogether to treat one another in the Light of that precious truth.

“And unto man He said, Behold, the fear of the Lord,
that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.”
Job 28:28

“There is no such thing as genuine knowledge of God that does not show itself in obedience to His Word and will. The person who wants to know God but who has no heart to obey Him will never enter the sacred courts where God reveals Himself to the soul of man. God does not give divine knowledge to those who have no desire to glorify Him.”

And He said to the disciples, It is impossible that the offenses should not come, but woe to him by whom they come! It is profitable for him if a millstone turned by an ass is put around his neck, and he be thrown into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

  • The Scripture, when read, should be prayed, meditatively prayed, and with intense intent.

The abject neglect of the supernatural, unlearned language, as per 1 Corinthians 14, praying the heart of our Father and the mind of His Christ with the power of Their Spirit, is lamentable in the extreme. The Spirit, praying through any individual’s spirit, in this language from above, which is offensive to the natural and carnal mind, does so ever and always flawlessly.

We pray that the church be much more mindful, with heartfelt financial support for our persecuted brothers and sisters. This morning, I saw in the Open Doors Canada Prayer Calendar that OD estimates that in North Korea, 60,000, yes, sixty thousand, Christians are imprisoned for their faith. The cruelty and torture of those incarcerated and suffering in the labor camps defies description as to severity.

Too, we pray that the church, especially in the affluent, materially mind-washed, wasteful West, actually put their money where their mouth is by extravagantly giving, ungrudgingly, cheerfully providing for the desperately poor sons and daughters of our Abba, many of whom are also widows and orphans.

The casual believer will miss the entrance of the mysteries of God. Many believers will wait for their pastor to gove them a great lesson, but even then they will not see the path to the revelation. I think it is why many will lose their first love; for lack of seeing more and deeper.
    Blessings Brian.

Tares Gathered and Readied to be Burned
I had a dream where I saw many churches. Then I saw angels going into these churches and coming out with bundled tares. Remember the tares were planted by the Devil, allowed to grow with the wheat, then bunled and burned before the wheat is harvested.

Matthew 13:30 (NKJV) 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, “First gather together the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them, but gather the wheat into my barn.”‘”

The tares look like the wheat up until the time of harvest. When fully mature the wheat, with a full head of white grain bows in humility while the tares, known as Darnell, stand straight up in pride and produce a black head whose seeds are poisoness.

Darnel is a weedy rye grass with poisonous black seeds. Darnel resembles wheat in its early growth but is easily distinguished from it when full grown.

It is worthy of note that the reapers are angels and not humans. This is no accident because humans look upon outward appearances while God looks upon the heart.

In previous dreams I’ve had concerning this subject I saw both congregants and leaders dropping dead. I saw, in one dream, the death angel standing in front of a pastor while preaching and intently listening to what he was preaching. I believe we will see pastors, elders, and worship leaders who look good to human eyes but are tares drop dead.

The wheat is not gathered until the tares are removed, bundled, and burned

  • It humbles us to receive a message which expresses scriptures revealed truth. So many have only eyes to see and ears to hear what Satan himself does glean from the word in order to confuse and deceive. They care not to receive the intrinsic value of the words that they will not see and hear.
