Knowing God is the sincere desire of all who seek the truth,
to grow in the truth, and to experience Him as He is.

“And the Lord said: ‘Because this people draw near with their mouth and honor me with their lips, while their hearts are far from me, and their fear of me is a commandment taught by men.”
Isaiah 29:13 (ESV)

The “fear of the Lord” cannot be taught by the precepts and the doctrines of men. Its truth and power can only be known in our own encounters with Him.

“And when I saw Him,
I fell at His feet as dead.”
Revelation 1:17

The depth of our prayer life determines our sense of His Holiness. It can be no other way. It is only by His presence that we are impacted with His Glory. Only in Christ are we able to behold the Father.

“I love them that love Me;
and those that seek Me early shall find Me.”
Proverbs 8:17

“For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.”
2 Corinthians 4:6-7

Knowing God

“The man who goes through life with an uncertain doctrine, not knowing what he believes, what a poor, powerless creature he is! He goes around through the world as a man goes down through the street with a poor, wounded arm, forever dodging people he meets on the street for fear they may touch him.”

    The City Of God
Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
    (Mat 5:8)

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
    (Mat 7:21-23)

They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
    (Rev 22:4)

“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. (Rev 22:14-15)

I saw a vision the morning of 09/27/2014. In the vision I saw heaven and there were many people there. However, there were only certain ones given the privilege of entering through the city gates. These were the ones with the mark of God (His name) written on their foreheads who were permitted to pass through the city gates. In other words, they were known. I did not see them having to present any credentials in order to enter the city. Those guarding the gates allowed them top pass because they were known to them. The others viewed the city from a distance

So true and so good. Being a Christian is so much more than uttering a phrase or reciting some prayer… To consider that we can have an encounter with the Almighty God and remain virtually unchanged is product of a false gospel.

It is to be deep and personal with Him, knowing and living in the revelation of Him.
