We are CALLED to be His Light by how we live, how we conduct ourselves, and by our motives. There must be a sincere searching of our hearts that we continually seek to present ourselves “approved to God”.
“Give diligence to present yourself approved to God…”
2 Timothy 2:15 (LITV)
Paul is writing this to a very devoted child of God. He was not telling Timothy to rest in a confession of faith; he was exhorting him to be “diligent” to walk rightly before God. Our life is the context from which He shines.
The Life of Christ is the verification of His indwelling. Our words fail when they are not evidenced by the Life of Him within. One significant scripture that reminds me of my dependence on Him is James 2:12.
“So speak ye, and so do…”

The older I get, the more I come to know Him, the greater is the weight of these six simple words.

I Prayed The Prayer
I had a dream 05/30/2015 just before waking. In the dream I saw a long line of people, a very long line.I could not count how many were in this line. I would liken it to the line you would see if a movie star were in town and people were waiting in line to see him/her. Hopefully this conveys the picture of what I saw in my dream.These people were all standing in line waiting to gain entrance. In each of their hands was a rolled up scroll. I was shown the words on the scroll which said ” I prayed the prayer”. This was the admission ticket, if you will, that the people in the line were trusting in to gain entrance into heaven. Then I saw a large hole and these people were bring cast into this hole. The hole i am guessing was hell.
The scroll that each one tightly held onto and trusted in did not gain them the entrance into heaven as they believed it would. Jesus is the only way into heaven.

The Test of Knowing Him

How many people think that they’re saved because they prayed the prayer that a pastor had them pray with, “every head bowed and every eye closed”, God forbid that they should make a public decision to leave their life of sin and follow Christ.
How many pastors will go through eternity, providing they make it themselves, living with the fact that those he/she had, “pray the prayer”, and never were made disciples of Jesus and never taught that they must leave their life of sin now are burning in an eternal hell
Yes – amen. Religion without Christ is the most deceptive and deadly plague that can defile the human race. It pains me to see the level of contentment and indolence of our day.
May we be faithful to declare what God gives us and may His fire stir us all the more.

Christianity has developed an entitlement mentality. The thought is that entrance into heaven is something that can be demanded because one “prayed the prayer”.
“And it shall be like people, like priest; I will punish them for their ways and repay them for their deeds.” Hosea 4:9
Whenever the ministers of God preach to fit the whims of the people, desolation and judgment will soon follow.

Amen, brother, there must be that “shine” on believers. It’s what draws the lost to Jesus.
I met a man briefly, and he oozed the love of Jesus. It was evident on him how he could love without even knowing me.
I told my wife that this is what I need to become.

Phoney Repentance
In a vision I saw a few days ago I saw people coming to an altar to supposedly confess their sins and repent. As I looked at those approaching the altar I noticed that their hands were black. Black hands are indicative of sin an one’s life and such persons are encouraged to come to the altar and repent and be cleansed. However, such was not the case here. Those in my vision who approached the altar were hypocrites and had no intention of repenting and turning from sin but rather were at the altar to make a showing for people to see how pious they were. As I saw these people kneel at the altar, with their black hands before them, I saw their hands burst into flames and they ran out of the church screaming. It is my personal belief that we are living in the days of Anna’s and Saphira where judgement of those whose only intention is to be seen and admired will be dwelt with swiftly and the content of their hearts revealed for all to see
