The Enduring Faith

“This charge I commit to you…
that you might war the good warfare.”
1 Timothy 1:18 (LITV)

There is a full-on assault in the hidden realms of the spirit where the enemy is speaking “great things,” seeking to fatigue us and tread on our resolve. But it is in our having “DONE all” (Eph 6:13) that we may stand against the wiles of our adversary.

Daniel saw our day: the enemy speaking words of power (inwardly and outwardly), seeking to wear down (erode) the fortitude of the saints of God.

“And he shall speak words against the Most High,
and he shall wear* out the saints of the Most High.”
Daniel 7:25 (LITV)

* “to wear out” “An Aramaic verb meaning to oppress, wear down. The word indicates a partially successful attempt to defeat or weary the saints of the Most High”
– Spiros Zodhiates

Paul, knowing the assault that the people of God in the last days would face, declares:

“Because of this, take up all of the armor of God that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having worked out all things, to stand.”
Ephesians 6:13 (LITV)

I love the LITV translation of this verse. The KJV uses the phrase “done all,” but the Greek implies a working out, an experiential handling of our spiritual weapons so that we become proficient in the use of the armor of God. Our ability to stand in God in this crucial hour is dependent on us walking and learning to use these spiritual weapons in our everyday lives.

The Enduring Faith

The hour is late and the need for mutual encouragement is vital to remain active and alive in God. Paul in his passion for the Body of Christ was vigilant and persistent to strengthen and encourage God’s people.

“After spending some time there, he departed and went from one place to the next through the region of Galatia and Phrygia, strengthening all the disciples.”
Act 18:23 (ESV)

May we feel the press of the Spirit to exhort and “strengthen ALL the disciples” to stand in this hour with the enduring faith of Christ Himself.

“To remove warfare from a spiritual life is to render it unspiritual. Life in the spirit is a suffering way, filled with watching and laboring, burdened by weariness and trial, punctuated by heartbreak and conflict. It is a life utterly outpoured for the kingdom of God and lived in complete disregard for one’s personal happiness.”

    My Dreams and Visions
    Dreams and Visions
    Truth Has Fallen
    Isaiah 59:14-15 (NKJV)

    14 Justice is turned back,
    And righteousness stands afar off;
For truth is fallen in the street,
    And equity cannot enter.
    15 So truth fails,
And he who departs from evil makes himself a prey.
    The Redeemer of Zion
Then the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him
    That there was no justice.

I had a dream/ night vision March 19, 2024 where I saw a belt laying the street. The belt I saw in the dream had a name……Truth…… the belt looked as though an individual had allowed it to slip off as it was still buckled. whether this was done carelessly or purposefully wasnt disclosed in the dream. I then saw evil people kicking the belt around as one would kick a ball. However, there was a reason why those kicking around the ball were doing so which I will now detail.

In Ephesians 6 it commands the believer to armor up.

    Ephesians 6:13-18 (NKJV)

13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

In my dream I saw an individual with all the armor except the belt of truth which, according to the aforementioned passage of scripture, is the first piece of the armor one is to put on and is necessary for the other pieces to function. Imagine being armored up but not having on a belt. Now further imagine chasing after the belt, “of truth”, being kicked around to keep it away from the individual in pursuit of it all the while trying to hold onto the other parts of the armor and hold onto one’s pants. The other parts of the armor cannot function properly without first, ” gilding your loins”, with the belt of truth. There is an order in putting on the armor and must be done every day. The belt of God’s truth and the knowledge of God’s Word through careful study is to be the center of one’s being. Knowledge of the truth gives instruction as to the use of the other pieces. Next comes the breastplate of righteousness which guards your heart. Next comes your feet to be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Next comes the shield of faith whereby the firey darts of the devil are quenched. Then comes the helmet of salvation that protects the mind. Last but not least is the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God and the only offensive weapon at the Christian’s disposal

Hello Tony – that is such a powerful truth without truth we are merely “beating the air” in our warfare. Very blessed by the dream!

      Blessings brother
